From $479 AUD / person
An intermediate, committing adventure. Good fitness, full mobility and confidence in deep water and at heights required.
ROSEWOOD CANYON
Above Red Cedar Falls
Explore World Heritage Gondwana Rainforests of Dorrigo National Park.
Hidden deep within Dorrigo National Park, Rosewood Canyon is a spectacular journey through World Heritage Gondwana Rainforest and one of the most impressive canyoning adventures on the Coffs Coast.
Rosewood is a significant step up from our introductory trips. Bigger abseils, deep pools, technical terrain and a more committing environment make this a longer and more demanding day, best suited to fit and capable adventurers who are confident with heights and water.
Once we enter the creek, the canyon quickly begins dropping through the Dorrigo Escarpment. We swim, scramble, jump and abseil our way through a seemingly endless series of waterfalls before reaching the highlight of the trip, the spectacular Red Cedar Falls.
Here, the creek disappears over the edge of the escarpment and we finish the canyon with an unforgettable 45-metre waterfall abseil.
Many people have stood below Red Cedar Falls and looked up. Few have ever seen what lies hidden above.
